She went to Clemson University for a Bachelors in Animal & Veterinary Science, USC Columbia School of Medicine for a Masters in Biomedical Science, and completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Mississippi University.
Outside of work, she enjoys being outside riding horses, camping, and hiking with her dog, Mia. She also likes to draw and paint, and is experienced in Lindy hop, a form of swing dancing.
