2009 Paws For A Cause Dog-walk/Fundraiser

The Paws For A Cause, which is an annual dog-walk/fundraiser for the local chapter of the American Cancer Society, took place this year on Saturday, September 26,  at 9:00 am, in downtown Greenville.

Even though it was a rainy morning, there was still a huge turnout of people and dogs, all who were visibly excited and eager to get "on with the show". This crowd of two and four legged participants, included our very own Dr.Deborah Perzak, Dr.Lynn Bowden, the entire staff of Woodruff Road Animal Hospital, and all of their beloved pets.

The park was filled with lots of chatter and laughter from the adults, excited screams from the kids, and the dogs were barking, howling and "greeting" each other, in a way that only dogs do best.

All in all, the fundraiser was a huge success and a great time was had by all!

Here are the photos from the event....We hope you enjoy!
